THE HOPE CLASSIC: RUN, WALK, WHEEL FUNDRAISING TIPS

• The Sky’s the Limit!
  -People will match or exceed the donations already on the pledge form. Try and start off with a large donation.
• The More the Merrier:
  -Ask your family and friends to participate and collect pledges.
• Sharing is Fun!
  -Ask everyone you see on a regular basis to sponsor you (family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, hairdressers, teachers, coaches, trainers, doctors, therapists, elected officials, etc.)
• Work It!
  -Check with your employer. They may have a gift matching program or be willing to make a corporate donation.
• Beyond the Four Walls:
  -Hold a fundraiser (BBQ, bake sale, casual day, pizza lunch, garage sale) to raise donations.
• Pay it Forward!
  -Send an e-mail to everyone on your contact list asking for their support.
• Don’t miss out!
  -If you are unable to participate, collect pledges and ask someone to attend the event for you.
• Tell ‘Em about it!
  -Let people know how their donations will help.
